GLADWELLS PET & COUNTRY STORE ANNOUNCES CONSERVATION PARTNERSHIP WITH BANHAM ZOO

Gladwells Pet & Country Stores are proud to officially announce an exciting new corporate partnership with Banham Zoo and the Zoological Society of East Anglia (ZSEA), dedicated to supporting wildlife conservation and community engagement.

To launch the partnership, members of the Gladwells team stepped off the store floor and into the Giraffe House at Banham Zoo for a hands-on experience meeting two of the zoo’s most popular residents, reticulated giraffes Mahiri and Zuri. After learning about the specialised care required for these majestic animals and feeding them their favourite cherry leaves, the Gladwells team presented the zoo with a £5,000 donation as part of the conservation initiative.

The heart of this partnership directly involves Gladwells’ loyal customers. Every bag of pet or animal feed purchased in-store at Gladwells will now do more than just nourish local pets—a portion of the proceeds directly funds the essential animal care and global conservation efforts championed by Banham Zoo.
