The Johnston & Jeff Robin Nest Box is made from 15mm saw falling redwood which is ideal for good insulation and protection for nesting birds.
The nest box has a non-toxic water-bases stain for longevity.
The open fronted design makes it perfect for Robins, Blackbirds, Flycatchers and Wagtails.

General Advice
The best height to place your nest boxes at is between 1.5 & 5.5 metres high, if your area has a cat prominence then the box should be fixed even higher if possible.
Nest Boxes should be placed in a sheltered spot but if this isn’t possible then try and avoid strong prevailing winds and sunlight.
Nest Boxes should be cleaned but only if you are sure that the nest box is no longer inhabited.
